You had me at reading your name and being Irish. My father was full-blooded. I have some German mixed in from my mom. Thank you for the helping me with your structure. I feel encouraged with your last line--feeling like maybe I can.

I love this idea for a post! I may have to borrow it for one of my slices. I am always hoping I can complete this challenge. I've been slicing since the first year, and always look forward to the flurry of posts that fly from my fingers for March. Good luck to us all! :)

What an interesting structure to your poem. You've really captured so much about this challenge in your words. I'm going to add this to my "mentor posts" Pinterest board. I hope you won't mind if I borrow your idea later in the month.

So glad you found some inspiration in "Currently." I always save it for a day when I don't want to write. I really love how you have focused yours entirely around the Slice challenge. I think that makes for a much more powerful piece of writing. I will try to borrow that twist when I do my own "Currently" later in the month. (Aren't comments grand?)
